Dear Members, We are writing to give notice of our next AGM to be held on the 17th June at 1900 hrs. This is slightly later in June than usual due to a break with tradition of having our friends from Kelkheim visit us at the end of May this year rather than their usual autumn visit. The AGM is open to all members of HWTTA - if anyone has not already paid their subscriptions for the coming year please contact our membership Secretary who is copied into this email. Please RSVP

We are looking forward to hosting our twin town of Kelkheim at the upcoming mayor making and Wycombe ceremonial activities in May! On the 23rd of May, Mayor Making will take place in High Wycombe, and the Charter Trustees will nominate a new Mayor for the year - make sure to find more information at the Mayor of High Wycombe Facebook Page. We will also be celebrating 40 years of our partnership with Kelkheim!

Kelkheim, a charming town nestled in the heart of Germany, offers a unique blend of history, culture, and natural beauty. Our recent visit to our twinned city was a great way for us to meet local residents, explore the culture of the two towns, and share exchanges.

Wycombe Youth Action is a charity organisation in High Wycombe started working with Kelkheim in November 2016. In May 2017, a get-together and preparation meeting took place in High Wycombe The project was financed by Erasmus+ and the city of Kelkheim The girls' project is themed "Empowerment of young women in Europe - empowering young women in Europe" The visit was of a group of ten girls between the ages of 14-19 from High Wycombe and two carers visited Kelkheim for a week
